Features and Benefits
• Fitted with a conventional inboard seal such as BXHHS or BXRH seals, the GSDH seal helps meet the most stringent emissions requirements as a dry running containment seal or as a full process conditions backup seal.
• For simplified maintenance compared to liquid buffer or barrier fluid dual seals, low pressure steam or nitrogen
purge gas is all that is required to achieve near-zero emission levels.
• Rotating bellows acts to clear convolutions and prevent accumulation of debris.
• Hydropad seal face technology enhances seal face lubrication even with dry gas present at the faces.
• Flexible graphite secondary seals offer universal chemical compatibility at all temperatures between -73 and 427°C
(-100 to 800°F).
• Vibration damper at the inner diameter of the bellows protects the seal faces from vibration damage caused by
poor equipment condition or mixed liquid and vapor phases at the sealing interface.
• Unique spring energized graphite (SEG) gasket behind the face creates a positive secondary seal without inducing
distortion in the seal face.
• Compatible with nitrogen or steam Plan 72 purge and Plans 75 or 76 drain or vent.
